Hippolyte Bellangé, The Soldiers of the French Republic and the Empire. After the (original) separately printed portfolio with the plates, undated. The book with text and plates first appeared in its first edition in 1843 (Leipzig).

Joseph Louis Hippolyte Bellangé (January 17, 1800 – April 10, 1866) was a French artist (painter and graphic artist) and is best known for his depictions of Napoleonic uniforms.
